Production planning and reporting: the work order comes from the sales order, the cost from the shop floor.

Ordeno's production module creates the work order from the approved sales order, with routing steps, materials and due date. Planning schedules against the real capacity of each machine or cell. On the shop floor, the operator reports start, pause and end of each step from a phone by scanning the work order's QR code. Delays show up before they become a customer complaint.

What this module solves

Work orders typed again

The work order comes from the sales order with the same items, drawings and dates, no re-keying.

Scheduling on a whiteboard

Each machine's queue is visible, with what is late and what fits this week.

Estimated cost

Machine and labor time come from shop floor reporting, so the part cost is the actual cost.

How it works

Work order from the sales order

An approved order becomes a work order with routing (cutting, machining, heat treatment, inspection), materials and delivery date.

Capacity scheduling

Planning spreads the steps across machines and cells, considering shifts, downtime and customer priority.

QR code reporting

The operator scans the step's QR code and reports start, pause and end, good quantity and scrap, with photo and comment.

Visible delays

A step that overruns its planned time, or a work order that will miss its date, raises an alert for planning and sales.

Cost per part

Reported hours, material consumed and subcontracted services make up the actual cost of each work order.

Where AI comes in and where rules apply

Rule

Priority, sequence and capacity follow configured rules (customer date, bottleneck, shifts).

AI

The agent warns the customer and the sales rep about a likely delay and suggests rescheduling when a machine goes down.

Frequently asked questions

Does the operator need a computer?

No. Reporting is done on the workstation's phone or tablet by scanning the work order's QR code.

Does it work for make-to-order production?

Yes. Each order can have its own routing, drawing and specific material.

Can I see the load on each machine?

Yes. The schedule shows the queue and utilization by machine, cell and shift.

Does the cost include subcontracted services?

Yes. Heat treatment, outside machining and other services go into the work order cost through the purchase linked to it.
