Pricing: the price comes from real cost and each customer group's margin.
Ordeno's pricing module builds each product's price from real cost (raw materials, labor, services), the taxes of the sale's origin, commission and the customer group's target margin. Change a percentage and the system reprices every product in that group, with a history of who changed it and when. The sales proposal comes out ready from the same screen.
What this module solves
Pricing in spreadsheets
Price building moves out of everyone's own spreadsheet and becomes a single company rule.
Disappearing margin
State taxes, commission and freight are part of the math; the price never drops below the target margin without approval.
Painful price updates
When cost or policy changes, every affected price is recalculated at once.
How it works
Cost of each product
Materials, labor and services cost drawn from the spec sheet, purchases and production reporting.
Customer groups
Each group (wholesale, retail, private label, own brand) has its own tax, commission, marketing and target margin percentages.
Divisor formula
Price = total cost ÷ (1 − sum of percentages − target margin), the same math for everyone.
Simulation and comparison
Compare up to four products side by side and simulate a percentage change before saving.
Proposal and history
Generates the sales proposal as a PDF and keeps an auditable history of every price change.
Where AI comes in and where rules apply
Rule
The price is always calculated with the company's formula, never by AI.
AI
The agent flags products with margin below target and explains what weighed most on the cost.

Frequently asked questions
How is the price calculated?
With the divisor method: total cost divided by (1 minus the sum of the tax, commission and expense percentages and the customer group's target margin).
Does the tax change by state?
Yes. The sale's origin and destination change the ICMS (Brazilian state VAT), and the calculation accounts for it.
Can I see the price history?
Yes. Each change stores the date, user and previous value.
Is the price updated when the cost changes?
Yes. Cost comes from the latest purchase and from production, and the group's prices are recalculated.
